Ammania gracilis, commonly known as Red Ammania or Scarlet Hygrophila, is a popular aquatic plant often used in freshwater aquariums for its vibrant reddish-orange coloration. Native to West Africa, this species thrives in wetlands and marshy environments and can add a striking pop of color when used as a midground or background plant in aquascaping.
